Our Data Quality Project Methodology

At DQE we understand the need for appropriate project governance.

Our Prince2 certified Project Managers provide total accountability in planning, structuring, leading and executing Data Quality projects with direct responsibility for managing the project teams. The Project Manager can also manage the project budget; monitor expenditure and costs against delivered, forecast and realised benefits; as the project progresses

Our Data Quality project methodology incorporates the three key elements of all successful Data Quality projects:

  • Reporting – using our DQMS monitoring and reporting system;
  • Prevention – business process improvements or IT system enhancements to prevent the re-introduction of data errors; and
  • Data Update – either bulk data update or manual data update: we have the tools and resources to enable efficient, pragmatic data update solutions.

Wherever possible we like to run our projects with a Work-Stream based structure. At the heart of the Work-Stream structure is the marrying of a subject matter expert with a project manager/business analyst. The Work-Streams are empowered to operate independently and engage the resources that they need to solve their issues. This collaborative approach delivers innovative solutions to problems within extremely tight timescales.
